Mentha spicata (spearmint)
Mint leaves are renown for their fresh, aromatic, sweet flavour with a cool after taste. Use Mint leaves in teas, jellies, syrups, candies and even ice cream.

Mint leaves chopped and added to scrambled eggs and omelets add great taste to egg dishes. Remember to add the mint just before serving otherwise the mint can turn sour.

Also fresh Mint leaves are a great addition to salads.

The classic use of Mint is as a glaze with lamb.
